This week is Transit Week! This afternoon I’m joined by Roger, a leader of the Transport Workers Union 250-A, to discuss transit policy and thank our transit workers for their service.

I will fight hard to keep our essential workers, including Muni drivers, safe during the pandemic. I am honored to have the Transport Workers Union 250-A’s endorsement. In the long term, we will work on lowering Muni fares and expanding free Muni so that working families have greater access to reliable and affordable transit options.
