What Voters need to know
Updated 9/8/2026
Voters in San Francisco (particularly older Democratic and Decline to State women, API and Latino voters) need to see, read and see on the go that Connie Chan will fight for working people and stand up to the billionaires and big corporations. She has a plan to get corporate money out of politics, raise wages and benefits for workers, crack down on the utilities and big corporations that are ripping off workers and make billionaires pay their fair share.
Connie Chan understands the affordability crisis and will fight for Medicare for All, create housing that’s affordable for working families, and prohibit companies from using AI to fire, discipline or surveil employees without human oversight. Connie Chan has a proven track record of standing up for our families. As Budget Chair, she led San Francisco’s fight against Trump’s cuts to healthcare and attacks on immigrants, pushed for stronger protections for tenants and funded Free City College and accessible childcare.
Meanwhile, Connie’s opponent, Scott Wiener, is bankrolled by Big Tech, crypto, AI and wealthy CEOs. He opposes a data center moratorium or tax on billionaires - that's the rigged system that's driving up the costs for everyone. And while he’s claimed to be a champion on housing, in his 15 years in office, rent has almost doubled. According to the San Francisco Tenant’s Union, he’s received more real estate money than any other politician in California, almost a quarter million dollars
Connie Chan is the only candidate in this race who has never taken contributions from corporations and the only candidate trusted by nurses, teachers, firefighters and working people.
